The property lies about 4 miles from the popular town of Hebden Bridge, easily reached by car, train or a pleasant walk along the canal bank. Todmorden & Hebden Bridge are both served by the Trans Pennine railway, Leeds to Manchester & good bus services. There are good, local hostelries in the area and Hebden Bridge has many interesting boutique style shops, cafes & restaurants. Todmorden, which is an easy stroll down the hill has an award winning indoor market with traditional stalls run by long established local families, excellent coffee shops and cafes.
Todmorden has excellent eating out places, highly recommend the Staff of Life, Grasso, Site Pizzeria, Shepherds Rest & Top Brink (great family pubs), plus for fine dining there’s the White Rabbit as well as The Vedas for a lovely Indian. There are plenty of places for a nice drink in town as well, with new bars Honest John and The Pub being two favourites’.
